Harry first made his way into games as the developer of the critically acclaimed Alto’s Adventure, on which he worked as the game’s sole artist and programmer. Building on the game’s success, Harry went on to help form Team Alto and took the lead on developing the equally celebrated sequel, Alto’s Odyssey. During this time, Harry and his games have accrued a long list of awards and accolades, including being named a BAFTA Breakthrough Brit, and receiving the prestigious Apple Design Award.

Jair McBain
Head of Operations

Jair is a producer that brings a plethora of video game production experience to the Land & Sea team, having most recently worked on the stylish indie racer Art of Rally, hit Apple Arcade title Mini Motorways and live support on the BAFTA-nominated Mini Metro by Dinosaur Polo Club. In a past life, Jair worked as a designer on a number mobile and VR titles with publishers such as Sony, Nexon, Disney and more.

Stephen Hart
Senior Programmer

Stephen is an experienced programmer with a background in the development of a wide variety of titles for console, PC, mobile and VR platforms. Most recently Stephen worked with Team17 on a number of internal and external titles; such as Narita Boy and Crown Trick. Previous to this, Stephen was involved in the development of VR titles and educational/escape room applications with the likes of ImmotionVR, DiaryZapp and Escape Reality. Stephen brings with him a passion for breathing creative ideas to life and gets a particular kick out of watching these ideas evolve as they are shaped into something players can interact with.

Ale Cámara
Lead Programmer

Ale (he/him) is a former physicist with a passion for making games. He loves solving complex mathematical problems by writing computer software. His dream is to connect with other people through the games he makes to produce a net positive change in the world. He firmely believes in radical kindness. In short, Ale is your friendly neighbourhood nerd.

Although Ale will answer to any names, Ale is technically pronounced like Alex without the 'x', or Alejandro without the 'jandro'.

Agata Gontarz
QA and Production Support

Agata got her start in games as a localisation QA tester, where she worked on such titles as Little Nightmares II and Iron Harvest. She continued her growth, becoming project manager working with various clients, including Devolver and DotEmu. At Land & Sea she holds the role of QA and Production Support, helping ensure that games you play are of the finest quality.

Todd Baker
Composer / Audio Designer

Todd is a music maker and audio designer who has worked with some of the most prestigious and innovative studios in the industry on award-winning titles that have gained widespread critical acclaim, such as Monument Valley 2 and Dreams. In 2017, he worked closely with Team Alto to craft the sound and music for Alto’s Odyssey.

Joe Grainger
Designer / Programmer

Joe is an experienced creative programmer with a strong art and design background and a focus on crafting high quality, meaningful and engaging experiences. He has been involved with two BAFTA-nominated indie titles, alongside an impressive array of solo projects. His work has also been showcased internationally at events such as IGF, EGX and PC Gamer. Joe later joined Team Alto, and played a key role in the design and execution of Alto’s Odyssey as well as playing a critical part in the formation of Land & Sea and our new IP’s.

Jenna Jovi
Narrative Designer / Writer

Building on her success as a screenwriter, Jenna is an emerging narrative designer committed to telling experiential stories that move us and make us think. Alongside her work with Land & Sea, Jenna is quickly establishing herself as a multifaceted collaborator, with current projects spanning the worlds of animation, film, television and immersive theatre. She is supported by industry leaders such as the BFI, BBC, SKY and StoryFutures Academy.
